Christ Community Church
OUR MINISTRIES
We are involved in a number of ministries, from Youth to Prayer to Community Involvement. As we continue to grow we will continue to engage more ministries to Bring Christ into the Community.
Prayer
James said that we should "Confess your faults one to another, and Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent Prayer of a righteous man availeth much." We believe in the power of prayer and have designated a prayer ministry to pray for our church, our city, our children, etc. We are participants in Project 29-7 where we have designated a day to pray throughout the day at all times of the day.
Sunday School & Bible Study
As part of our mission, we commit to honor Jesus Christ in all that we do. Part of that comes through Bible study. As we study the Bible together we grow closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. We commit to building and growing our relationship with Christ through study and discussion of the lessons as we meet on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.
Good News Club
In conjuction with the Child Evangelism Fellowship we will be initiating a Good News Club at Hillcrest Elementary. During this time we will work with the youth teaching them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and all of the attirbutes needed to emulate Him, while building a relationship with the community and school.
Community Service
We are currently working with the House of Prayer and Project 29/7, as well as the Children Evangelism Fellowship. We have been involved with the Community Kitchen, as well as the Ronald McDonald House and Hillcrest Elementary School.
Youth
At Christ Community we believe that the children are our future and our present as well. We cater to their spriritual growth through children's church. As we continue to develop our dance team, we are in the process of forming a youth choir. JEWELS (Jesus Endowed Women Ever Loving Serving) is our mentoring program for girls and GEMS (God Endowed Men Servants) is our mentoring program for boys.
Music
Praise and worship is always a part of our services. We welcome all who are interested to lead us in our music ministry to sing or stand in as support in praising our God in song. Never will a rock shout out in our place!
